Have had this book at least a month now and still stuck on chapter 2. Something is just not right about the way they're trying to explain how to set this environment up. Exactly what data should be populated in the share targets and maybe even the file formats would help instead of broadly stating "When referring to packages that come in an ISO format, such as Windows server, you need to extract the contents of the ISO and copy those across, not the ISO itself." What about the other packages? Exactly what should be in those shares? Even if its old data in those folders, show us so we at least have an idea whether or not we're heading in the right direction. I shouldn't have to google everything. That's why I bought the book! Seems to be a piece of trash at this point since I'm having to google everything due to a lack of explanation and examples. If I somehow actually get past this chapter and get to proceed, I may change the review. At this point, though, it was a huge waste of money.

This book won't teach you everything you'll want to know about SCCM - but it sure makes getting up to speed pretty painless and simple. I referred to it over and over again after reading through cover to cover. Many books on SCCM only talk about older versions - same with trying to find information online - there is just so much on the older versions its hard to find up to date information. This book helps bridge that gap.

Great series! Great writing! Great seller! What's not to like? Helps me with my hobby and work.

Enough instruction to build out your SCCM lab, bottom up instruction. Good information on areas that require small details like building collections and queries.

I have been waiting a while for volume 2 to come out. The thing I like is the reference page for each story. If you read the newspapers not only can you read the companion story but other crimes that occurred at that time. The research that was conducted is remarkable.

I you are a fan of this genre you simply can't go wrong! Enjoyed the book from start to finish. Love there is a "companion site" for those of us who want to delve more in to it!

Jason's first volume on true crime was terrific...and volume 2 is no less entertaining and informative. Great job !

I'd like to have copies of this book handy to give to folks who maintain that murder and crime are things that never happened in the so-called good old days. This is one of the very few books I've read in recent years that made me sorry to come to the last page. I found it fascinating. The stories are well-told, and the editor did a great job of adding epilogues and correcting a few misstatements. The referrals to the web site for more information are well-done and satisfying.I do have one question... The author of Chapter 7- "The Holy Rollers Sex Cult" made a statement that I'm not sure about. I don't think "enormous prunes" really "hang heavy on the trees", do they? I think on the trees they're plums. The transition to prunes takes place behind the scenes after the plums are harvested, right? Oh, well, who cares, except perhaps a few of these characters needed a bit more fiber in their diets!Seriously. Grab a copy of this entertaining and informative book! Mine goes in my "Most assuredly will re-read" file.

Once again a great collection of true crime stories. The book itself is a very interesting collection of vintage stories but the links to even more info on the website is what set it apart from other true crime books. Great additional pictures and information from other sources available through the links. Great use of Kindle and digital technology that other publishers should take advantage of.

Iâ€™ve read a few other books in this series and they never disappoint. Great knowledge and flow make them unable to be put down.

As a lifelong fan of TRUE CRIME literature, I decided to branch out into vintage crime accounts and little known historical crimes. This book will definitely not disappoint! Extremely interesting and thought provoking; I couldn't stop reading until I finished the whole book in one night.HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!!
